As a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I am dedicated to compassionate and client-centered care as you embark on your journey towards healing and self-discovery. I have experience working with individuals (16+) in a trauma-informed approach to therapy. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my practice. I believe in the power of fostering an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted, allowing them to explore their thoughts, behaviours, and emotions openly.
I hold a Honours BA with a Specialization in Psychology and minor in Indigenous Healing & Health from Laurentian University. I am finishing my MA in Psychotherapy, Counselling, & Spirituality from Saint Paul’s University. I’m also an award winning movement and mindfulness teacher with extensive training and 19 years experience. Beyond my MA, I am training in Somatic Experiencing and have Level 1/2 Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy training. I am also starting year long professional training in Compassionate Inquiry with Gabor Mate and Sat Dharam Kaur May 2025.
As a therapist, my practice is grounded in emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, somatic inquiry, compassionate care, and family system/parts work. You’re spirituality and religion are also more than welcome into the therapeutic space.
I have clinical experience working with a diverse range of clients, including complex trauma, ADHD, depression, OCD, BPD, and anxiety. Recognizing the individuality of each client, my approach is highly client-centered, ensuring that I tailor my methods to meet the specific needs and goals of those I work with. Your journey is as unique as you are, and I am here to support and guide you through it.
